27 May 2020 Covid-19 Guidelines and Templates for jewellers to ensure compliance to Regulations in the Workplace

Good day Members

The President has announced the fantastic news that wholesale and retail will be permitted to open on 1 June in Level 3. We do however need to wait for the Regulations to be gazetted before this can be confirmed. We anticipate that this will take place in the next day or two.

In terms of the Covid-19 Occupational Health and Safety Measures in Workplaces, you will be required to adopt and implement occupational health and safety measures to reduce and eliminate the escalation of COVID-19 infections in workplaces.

The council would like to assist you to ensure that you are fully compliant when opening and as such, we have been working with Crayve Presentations to create guidelines and templates for your use. Please read the attached Regulations together with the resources listed below to ensure you are on the right track.
